Terms of Service

(Tangerine Yeen Fursuits, TOS is Based off of, Fursuit Enterprise, Autumnfallings and Fursuits by Mars TOS)Refusal of Service:

Tangerine Yeen Fursuits reserves the right to deny any customer service for reasons to be determined by Tangerine Yeen Fursuits. This includes if the commissioner is rude, threatening or otherwise unreasonable. Harassment, determined by Tangerine Yeen Fursuits ,  is not tolerated in any way. Should the commissioner display harassment of any sort to Tangerine Yeen Fursuits , we reserve  the right to drop the project. Additionally, Tangerine Yeen Fursuits reserves the right to blacklist commissioners. Being blacklisted is defined in this document as the barring from any further services. Our customers are important to us, so please if you have any issues with your costume or commission contact us first. Communication is important and without you letting us know there is a problem we can't help solve it. You must be 18 years or older to commission Tangerine Yeen Fursuits . We have the right to ask for photo ID. If you lie about your age, or we suspect you are lying about it, refuse to provide an ID when asked, or use a false ID, your commission will be terminated, you will not be refunded, and materials will be forfeited.

Warranty and Prices:

Price quotes and suit prices are subject to change. all quotes are valid for 6 months after quote was given even if prices change within that 6 month time frame, HOWEVER, once quote expires you should re-submit quote to Tangerine Yeen Fursuits. Tangerine Yeen Fursuits reserves the right to deny service to anyone (before and after accepting commission). There is a 1 year warranty on costumes. After 1 year, the buyer will pay for any repairs. The buyer must pay shipping costs.
If you find any issues upon receiving your suit we are happy to fix them. Do not be afraid to email us about anything you are unhappy about. It is recommended that each customer learns basic hand sewing to do simple repairs that happen over time, like any other article of clothing, fursuits eventually experience natural aging, wear, and tear. Warranty covers defects of material and construction, for example, issues include: loose stitches/broken stitches, holes, any part of the suit coming loose/off. Normal wear and tear (wear and tear to be determined by Tangerine Yeen Fursuits) is not covered by the warranty. Any unauthorized alteration not made by Tangerine Yeen Fursuits voids the warranty of suit. If I determine you have caused intentional damage to your suit, Tangerine Yeen Fursuits have the right to deny repairs.

Reference Sheets:

Please send a clear, up-to-date reference sheet for the most accurate quote. We prefer 2 or 3 view references. (The more views the better.) A clear, up-to-date digital reference sheet is REQUIRED in order to commission a fursuit.

Character Design:

Design changes can be made up until work is actually started on the suit and supplies are ordered. If supplies are ordered and work is already started; we can NOT guarantee all changes can be made. It is the responsibility of the commissioner to pay close attention to progress shots to ensure you get what you want. if you do not voice something you dislike, or a mistake made in character design and wait to say something upon receiving suit, Tangerine Yeen Fursuits  is not responsible. If something could have been changed at an earlier stage shown in the progress pictures sent to you and you did not mention your disliking of any aspect and voice it later when the head is further along and harder to fix, this will take more time and labor. This will result in additional fees.
 Please be sure you are absolutely satisfied with your design before work begins and if changes to character are made during the making of suit let Tangerine Yeen Fursuits  know ASAP. If design changes are made it may change the price of your original offer.

Payment and Cancellations:

We ONLY accept payments through Paypal.
A 30% NON REFUNDABLE down payment is required upon acceptance of commission. Work will not begin until the suit is FULLY paid off. Remember fursuits are a luxury, not a necessity. making sure you are financially secure before commissioning is very crucial.
 If you drop out or your commission is terminated, you have no rights to this 30% or materials purchased. If you are considering cancelling, contact Tangerine Yeen Fursuits  ASAP. Part of what you have paid can be refunded, but if work has already been started it will affect how much can be refunded,  refund is to be determined by Tangerine Yeen Fursuits. We have up to one year of the date of your requested refund to refund you in full.

REMEMBER: Tangerine Yeen Fursuits has the right to deny any customer service for reasons to be determined by myself. I have the right to terminate a commission at ANY time for obscene behavior. Including but not limited to: being rude, impatient, threatening, slandering, harassing, bribing, or spamming us.

Payment Plans:

Payments must be made at least once a month after the 30% down payment has been paid.
Late payments result in later completion.
Failure to make a payment within 15 days of the missed due date will result in a 3% fee. If a payment is going to be late, please contact me ahead of time so I can understand the nature of the delay.
If payments cease and contact cannot be established, your commission will be terminated; all progress and materials will be considered forfeit. This will lead to you being permanently blacklisted under all accounts. No refunds will be given to those who fail to make payments.
Monthly plans should not exceed 5 months for a head, 6 months for a partial. There are no payment plans for hand paws, or tails. It is preferred that payment is sent in as less time as possible. The finished project will NOT be sent to you until it is paid in full and shipping is paid. Once i receive last payment and shipping, i will send out your commission.

Completion and Deadlines:

Completion dates can not be predicted exactly, however we will try to provide you with a rough estimate of when your suit may be completed by.
-We do not work with any deadlines under any circumstances whatsoever. Please be understanding of this.
-We work in order of who has completed their full payment first. Failure to make a full payment will push your commission back. Failure to send information required in making of suit will push your commission back.
Sizing: we currently do not make full suits, only heads, hand paws, arm sleeves and tails at this time. For correct fitting fursuit head we ask that you measure circumference of head. For correct arm sleeve length we ask that you measure from top of shoulder to wrist and we need an above bust measurement as we use elastic to keep sleeves from falling.

Work in progress photos and updates:

Work in progress updates and photos will be sent via contact method of choice. We will update you when we are working on your project, and will always try to reply to any questions or concerns you have as soon as we can.

Shipping:

Shipping costs are not included in the price of any costume, they will be an additional charge. Shipping costs may vary and one should expect to pay an additional fee for insurance. Shipping within the United States usually costs around $20-$200.Please keep in mind, Tangerine Yeen Fursuits  has the right to select shipping methods and carriers. Tangerine Yeen Fursuits is NOT responsible for any lost or damage received product. Currently we only ship within the united states.

Allergy Warning:

This home is a pet friendly environment. The cat and dog may wander in and out of my work room occasionally while working on suits. both are kept out of work room at night when we are not working. Be aware that fur may be on project.

Contract:

Anything agreed upon by both parties in writing, including email, is a binding contract. By submitting a commission form, you agree to all of the terms of service. Upon being accepted for commissions, customers will be required to sign a contract that binds them to agree to the TOS.  When submitting a commission form please copy the contract below and include with commission email. If this is not included we are to assume you did not fully read our TOS and we will re-direct you back to this page.

 By Agreeing, I [the commissioner] have read and understand the Terms of Service. By agreeing to this contract I am stating I understand and have thoroughly read the terms of service. I am also confirming that I am over the age of 18, and am fully capable of paying amount agreed upon in quote by Tangerine Yeen Fursuits.
